— Mozza

I came from a pig breeding farm where I had many babies that were taken from me. Once my production slowed down, luckily the Farm Sanctuary heard about me and decided to rescue me from an awful fate. They contacted JP to see if they would be able to take me in as part of the Farm Sanctuary’s Animal Adoption Network.

I had to go to Cornell and get fixed before I went to JPFAS as it has been found that pigs have a high rate of cancers and will live longer when spayed.

So my journey was long but when I got here I was greeted with food and signs and lots of hugs.

I like to walk around the property with Oscar, get in my little pool to cool off in summer and explore the sanctuary.

I am slowly getting to know my piggy family and am so happy to get lots of attention from the caregivers here as they are always telling me how beautiful my eyes are 🐷💟!
