Inspiring Compassionate Living

JP Farm Animal Sanctuary stands for Janssen Printy, our last names, but we like to think it also represents Joy and Peace. When you visit the animal sanctuary website, our goal is to inspire and educate you and your loved ones to live a healthy, happy and compassionate life.

“ONE MORNING ON THE FARM”
A message from all of us at the JP Farm Animal Sanctuary

Meet Copper, our Jersey Holsteen

“Moo! My name is Copper because of the color of my ears.”

I’m very playful and I have a reputation of giving the best licks! Before my forever home, my one purpose in life was to make as many babies as possible to produce milk for the dairy industry. When I couldn’t have more than one baby, the industry didn’t see much value in keeping me. Luckily I found my place here at JP, where everyone appreciates my big heart and spontaneous happy dances. You can find me eating some fresh hay or licking a nearby friend.
